Create new analysis group

Graph types

A large number of graphs are available to visualize data. Please find below the descriptions to create the graphs.

List of graphs:

To create a new chart follow these steps:

  • Click (+) New Analysis

  • Select Dataset

  • Select Bar Chart from drop down Chart Type

  • Enter Analysis Name

  • Click (+) Create

 

1. Bar chart

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue)

  • Click Update

 

Optional settings

  • Group by a second property

  • Apply filters

  • Limit the number of datapoints shown

  • Sort data

2. Line chart

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue)

  • Click Update

 

Optional settings

  • Group by a second property

  • Apply filters

  • Limit the number of datapoints shown

  • Sort data

3. Bar and line chart

 
 

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select two aggregation methods (e.g., sum, average, count) and fields (e.g. units, revenue). First aggregate: bar chart, second aggregat: line chart

  • Click Update

 

Optional settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select two aggregation methods (e.g., sum, average, count) and fields (e.g. units, revenue). First aggregate: bar chart, second aggregat: line chart

  • Click Update

 

4. Horizontal bar chart

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue)

  • Click Update

 

Optional settings

  • Group by a second property

  • Apply filters

  • Limit the number of datapoints shown

  • Sort data

5. Pie chart

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue)

  • Click Update

  • Limit the number of datapoints shown

  • Sort data

 

6. Donut chart

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue)

  • Click Update

  • Limit the number of datapoints shown

  • Sort data

 

7. Scatter plot

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. product group, client)

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue). First aggregate: x-axis, second aggregate: y-axis

  • Click Update

 

Optional settings

  • Select a third aggregate as the bubble size

  • Apply filters

  • Limit the number of datapoints shown

  • Sort data

  • Show regression line by selecting item in the menu on the right bottom

  • Apply `Data Zoom´ in the menu on the right to show information for each plot

 

8. Price waterfall

Required settings

  • Specify a product group or product ID that should be shown

  • Click Update

  • Note: The price waterfall will be created for any columns in the data, where the header is identified as a "price". You can check or update this information under the tab "Data", select the relevant data table and then click "Columns".

  • Apply filters (e.g. by product or customer)

 

9. Calendar heatmap

Required settings

  • Select a time frame to be displayed. Please note: After selecting year and month, also select the day by clicking on the calendar view

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue)

  • Click Update

 

Optional settings

  • Apply filters (e.g. by city or product)

 
 

10. Funnel chart

Required settings

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. visit number)

  • Select one way of aggregating (e.g., "distinct count" of "Customer Number")

  • Click Update

  • Limit the number of datapoints shown

  • Sort data

11. Sankey diagram

Required settings

  • Use "Filter Left" to select the data for which this condition is true (e.g. "Visit number" = 1 or "January 2019")

  • Use "Filter Right" to select the data for which this condition is true (e.g. "Visit number" = 2 or "February 2019")

  • Select one property to Group By (e.g. "Product Group")

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., "disctinct count") and field (e.g. "Customer ID")

  • Click Update

 

Optional settings

  • Under "Customers", select conditions to filter only these customers for which these conditions are true

 

12. Product tree diagram

Required settings

  • Under Group By, select the product groups you want to show (sorting by descending hirarchie)

  • Select one aggregation method (e.g., sum, average, count) and field (e.g. units, revenue)

  • Click Update
