Buynomics Launches Free Certification Course on PPA with Nestlé's Colin McQuay

Buynomics has announced the next course in its RGM Academy, partnering with Nestlé's Sr. Director of Strategic RGM, Colin McQuay, to launch a new, expert-led program focused on Price Pack Architecture (PPA). The initiative is designed to make high-quality, practical RGM education accessible at a time when most advanced training formats remain costly and limited to a small group of leaders.

The RGM Academy is Buynomics' response to a clear industry gap. While commercial complexity continues to rise, practical, experience-led RGM education has remained fragmented and expensive. By making the course freely accessible, Buynomics aims to build a learning environment where senior RGM leaders can learn directly from peers who have designed and embedded PPA programs at scale.

Buynomics RGM courses build on a long-standing commitment to educating leaders through webinars, community events, and roundtables. Strong engagement with the previous course, Future-Proofing RGM with AI, which attracted senior participants from companies including BIC, Mondelez, and Coty, underscored clear demand for practical, experience-led education that bridges strategy and execution.

The launch comes as manufacturers rethink how pack and channel decisions are made in collaboration with retail partners. Based on Buynomics analysis of senior RGM leaders across global CPG organizations, 39% plan to increase investment in pack and channel strategy in 2026. This indicates a need to shift away from one-off, reactive PPA exercises toward more structured, enterprise-wide approaches.

The course, Price Pack Architecture: From OBPPC to Global Roadmap, is co-hosted by Colin McQuay, Senior Director and Head of Strategic Revenue Management at Nestlé, alongside Ivan Tretyakov, Director of Product Innovation at Buynomics and former RGM leader at Danone.

"What stood out in the previous course was how much value practitioners found in real-world examples rather than theory alone," said Ivan Tretyakov. "For this PPA course, we're applying the same principle. Everything is grounded in how global organizations actually make pack, price, and portfolio decisions under real constraints."

The course is now live and freely accessible, with a certification available upon completion. The certification cohort remains open for a limited period, until 19th April.
